Fancy making a difference?

Scouting is accessible to everyone, and as an adult you can be involved in the fun too! You can also grow and develop in your own way, learn new skills, enjoy the great outdoors, enrich people’s lives.

You can volunteer in many ways; You can help in the week to week activities as an occasional helper or an assistant section leader at a local group. Can’t spare time every week? You can help out as an associated member on an executive committee at group or district level, or help with appointments. Are you a parent with a bit of spare time 5 or 10 times a year? You can be a member of a group executive as a parent representative or a member of the committee as a treasurer or chairman.

Whatever your role, you will be provided with all the training and assistance to ensure you are up to speed. Many of these skills translate into your day-to-day life. Volunteering looks great on the C.V. too; take note students!

We appreciate any contribution you could possibly make. If you want to help, please contact us on

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
